Savikko Shop Museum

The Savikko shop has a long history: it operated continuously as a shop for nearly a hundred years and remained open in summers for some time thereafter. The shop has now been renovated to serve as a museum where visitors can learn about the history of trade and commerce. The exhibition involves original items from the shop as well as bits and bobs from other sources. The aim has been to arrange everything in a way that represents the original shop as accurately as possible.
