Riuttavuori

Riuttavuori is a breathtaking destination in the Juurikka village of Kitee. The area around the popular site features short hiking trails through diverse terrain as well as a firepit with a lean-to. The top of the hill commands an amazing view of the sunset. The vista also includes the Riuttalampi pond at the base of the hill, Lake Juurikkajärvi a few kilometres away, and Lake Pyhäjärvi, which connects Finland and Russia. The view is incredibly impressive especially in autumn colours!
